● About Us
Our story
Since 2022, Lenuk-Tasi has been conducting morning patrols, during which we've discovered three remarkable species of sea turtles: the Olive Ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea), the Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas), and the critically endangered Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata).
A total of 9,250 sea turtle hatchlings has been successfully released, including Olive Ridley hatchlings (5,250), Hawksbill hatchlings (3,910), and Green Turtle hatchlings (90) and the hatchlings will continue to increase in the future.
We have also proudly hosted over 70 hatchling release events, welcoming approximately 5,000 guests, including both international and local visitors; and delivered 87 educational talks at schools and on-site, actively promoting marine conservation and raising awareness in surrounding communities and villages.
